重庆大学法学院位于重庆市。1945年以来，重庆大学成立了法学院，设有法律、经济和政治。翟晋夫先生、罗志如教授、潘大奎教授先后担任院长。当代著名国际法学家王铁崖先生也在学院任教。1952年，国家调整了高等教育的结构和布局，重庆大学法学教师被调到西南政法学院。1995年，重庆大学恢复设立法学本科专业，1998年设立法学系，2002年6月16日恢复设立法学院。现任院长是著名教授陈忠林。

学院简介

重庆大学法学院成立于1945年，当代著名国际法学家王铁崖先生等待著名学者在学院任教。1952年，国家调整了高等教育的结构和布局，学院与兄弟大学法学院联合成立了西南政法学院。重庆大学法学院于1995年恢复招生，2002年6月16日恢复成立。2008年成为重庆大学“985”工程单列学科，2008年成为西部唯一一门“211”工程独立项目。重庆大学法学院设有法学博士一级学科，法学博士后流动站。重庆大学法学位在2009年教育部学科评估中排名全国第19位。现任院长是著名教授陈忠林。

TheSchoolofLawofChongqingUniversityislocatedinChongqingMunicipality.Since1945,theSchoolofLawofChongqingUniversityhasbeenestablishedwiththedepartmentsofLaw,EconomicsandPoliticalScience.Mr.ZhaiJinfu,ProfessorLuoZhiruandProfessorPanDakuisuccessivelyservedasthedeanoftheschool.Mr.WangTieya,afamouscontemporaryinternationaljurist,alsotaughtintheschool.In1952,thestateadjustedthestructureandlayoutofhighereducation,andlawteachersfromChongqingUniversityweretransferredtoSouthwestInstituteofPoliticalScienceandLaw.In1995,theundergraduateprogramoflawwasreestablished.In1998,theDepartmentofLawwasestablished.OnJune16,2002,theLawSchoolofChongqingUniversitywasreestablished.Thecurrentdeaniswell-knownprofessorChenZhonglin.
