明斯特大学是德国最大和最著名的大学之一，[3]大学目前拥有7所学院，15个系。学校的历史可以追溯到1588年建立的教徒学校，17世纪时已经在学校开始哲学神学讲座。1771年，科隆大主教正式颁发了成立拥有4所学院的明斯特国立大学的公文。大学于1774年成立法学系，并开始医学课程。1780年正式作为大学对外招收学生。位于德国北莱茵-威斯特法伦州。1902年从皇帝威廉二世(德国)得到了它如今的名字：明斯特威斯特法伦威廉大学。

Minster university is one of the largest and most famous universities in Germany, [3] University currently has 7 colleges and 15 departments. The history of the school can be traced back to the Christian school established in 1588. Philosophy and theology lectures have been started in the school in the 17th century. In 1771, the Archbishop of Cologne officially issued the official document for the establishment of Minster National University with four colleges. The University established the Department of law in 1774 and began medical courses. In 1780, it officially enrolled students as a university. Located in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. In 1902, it got its current name from Emperor William II (Germany): William University of West Fallon, minster.
